august 30:
on the eve of my thirtieth birthday...
i'm lying on the couch in my new apartment in New York. yes, i'm really here.
i've been chosen as one of 16 individuals (out of over 850 applicants) to enter one of the most rigorous and highly respected acting training programs in north america: the MFA Grad Acting program at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.
the program consists of exhaustive (and exhausting, i imagine) training in an incredibly comprehensive range of disciplines. i am ecstatic to have been selected and i can't wait for classes to begin.
unfortunately for the website, i spent the summer saving up for (exorbitant) tuition fees, and will now be spending upwards of 12-14 hours a day, six days a week, in class. plus readings and rehearsals. so it's unlikely the site will be updated anytime soon.
